What is Secretarial Studio?

An add-on for firms with a secretarial practice. It turns the drafting and meeting work that eats a CS team’s week into deterministic, checklist-driven output — one person does the work of three.

What do I get — drafting?

Deterministic drafting from fixed templates: resolutions, notices and minutes skeletons. There is no AI generation — what you get is a complete, correctly-structured draft to review and sign, never a machine-written filing. The professional still reviews and signs everything.

What do I get — meetings?

The full meeting lifecycle: schedule → notice → held → minutes → close. Resolutions passed in a meeting automatically spawn the filings they require, and director changes are stamped for the next stage — nothing falls through the cracks between the meeting and the filing.

What about statutory registers and MCA filings?

Those come with the CS / Combo suite itself: statutory registers — including a firm-wide DSC register with expiry alerts — and MCA filing packets (AOC-4, MGT-7, ADT-1, MGT-14, DPT-3, DIR-3 KYC, DIR-12, PAS-3, CHG-1, INC-22). Studio is the drafting + meetings layer on top of them.

Who can use Studio?

Firms on the FIRM plan, in the CS or Combo suite only. It is a secretarial product, so it does not attach to the CA-only suite.

What does it cost?

₹4,999/month total — that already includes the FIRM plan — plus 18% GST. It is a flat bundle: no discount stacking, no per-client or per-meeting charges inside Studio.

Does Studio replace my CS?

No. It removes the repetitive production work — drafting skeletons, meeting paperwork, filing checklists — so one person produces what three did. Judgement, review and signing stay with the professional.

What is coming next?

Event bundles, register propagation and certificates arrive as a Studio update after launch.

How do I get Studio?

It is switched on by your operator — there is no self-serve checkout yet. Contact us and the operator enables it on your firm.

Reports & the vault

Questions about reports and the vault, answered.

How do my GST reports get into Metiq?

Two doors, one vault. On the Reports page, tick the reports that are missing for a client and period — GSTR-2A, GSTR-2B, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 — and the download helper, a small browser add-on, fetches them from the GST portal through your own signed-in session and files them into that client’s report vault. Or upload the report files yourselves, the way you download them today; they land in the same vault. Either way, the Reports page shows coverage at a glance: which periods are in hand, and which are still missing.

Do you store my clients’ GST portal passwords?

Only if you ask us to — and report downloads never need them: the download helper works through your own portal login, so no stored password is involved in a download at all. Separately, when a client asks your firm to hold their portal login, you can keep it in the credential vault: stored encrypted, with an optional record of the client’s instruction, and every save and reveal is audit-logged. A login can be deleted at any time, and a partner can shred the entire vault — the stored logins are then unrecoverable, by design.

Plan limits

Every cap, published.

Limits are set by your plan and are identical in every suite — a Solo firm gets 30 clients whether it is CA, CS or Combo. Usage against each limit is visible in the console at all times. When a meter runs out, activity on that meter pauses until the next cycle or a plan change — it is never billed silently.

What counts as a page?

Each page of a document we process — a one-page invoice counts once; an 8-page PDF counts eight times. Oversize documents (over 50 pages or 25 MB) are held, and the client is offered split or page-range options instead of consuming the budget blindly.

What is a research number?

A staff WhatsApp number registered for the AI research assistant (QA-A). Client status answers (QA-B) are separate: every client gets exactly one registered number, on every plan, at no extra count.

When the trial ends

Nothing is deleted — but until you pick a plan, the console lands on an expired page and everything stops. The one thing that always stays available, trial or paid, is downloading your client data (Export) and your past invoices. Paid plans also get a 7-day grace period after they end, with a banner counting down the days, before the same switch-off. Renewal is via our team until online renewal arrives with our payment gateway.
